Course Objectives
The primary objective of the class is to educate attendees on how to improve the overall testing process from test design through implementing effective test automation solutions using Selenium and Java. To that end, this training course covers the following topics:
- Identify generic elements that could easily be reused in the creation of subsequent tests
- Simplify the overall testing process through modularity
- Use Selenium IDE to facilitate a disposable scripting model
- Integrate Selenium WebDriver, Eclipse IDE, and Java for developing more complex tests
- Develop a basic automation framework
- Data drive tests using data providers

This course involves hands-on exercises. Participants must bring their own laptops and have administrative rights to install the automation software.
The standard recommended configuration is Windows 7 or higher laptop with a minimum of 4GB RAM and running an Intel i3 processor or higher.
If you have questions about your laptop configuration, please contact us. Should you need to rent a laptop for the course, Zenergy provides rentals for $100/day.
